(STMW) — Gov. Pat Quinn has signed a proclamation making Sunday Frank Thomas Day as the former Chicago White Sox slugger is inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn has signed a proclamation making Sunday Frank Thomas Day as the former Chicago White Sox slugger is inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Thomas played 19 seasons in the major leagues and 16 of them with the White Sox. He hit 521 home runs and drove 1,704 runs before retiring in 2008.
