HP hits up another fashion designer for a special edition laptop.
HP today unveiled the HP Pavilion dm1 by Alexandre Herchcovitch – a special edition notebook PC created in partnership with the Brazilian designer. Herchcovitch brings over 15 years of experience to the collaboration and adds to a line of previous special edition notebooks by Chinese fashion designer Vivienne Tam and Dutch designer Tord Boontje.
Inspired by his autumn/winter 2012 collection, the HP Pavilion dm1 by Alexandre Herchcovitch features an intricate black lace pattern against an iridescent olive pearl color which envelopes the chassis, keyboard deck and keycaps for an increased visual “glow” effect and stunning design worthy of any catwalk.
Weighing only 3.5 pounds with up to 9.5 hours of battery life, the ultraportable special edition Pavilion dm1 is perfect for browsing the internet or accessing files, photos and video while on the go. The stylish PC features an 11.6” LED display, AMD processor, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections, USP, HDMI, RJ4 and VGA ports and Windows 7 Home Premium for a fashionable yet functional experience. Loaded with Beats Audio™ for quality sound, HP TrueVision HD Webcam for quality images in even the lowest lighting and HP CoolSense technology that automatically adjusts temperatures for a noticeably cooler PC, the Pavilion dm1 by Alexandre Herchcovitch is the latest “must have” fashion accessory.
For photo and video editing, the special edition PC comes equipped with Arcsoft Perfect 365 instant makeover, Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe Premiere Elements 10. The notebook installed with the online game It Girl by Crowd Star allows users to become virtual, professional fashion designers, creating their own looks and attending mainstream fashion events. The stylish PC also includes HP ProtectSmart and one year of Norton Internet Security for the ultimate protection to data and files.
