Playboy Lists the 25 Greatest Cars of All Time
Playboy magazine has offered up its list of the 25 greatest cars of all time. There are some cars the certainly belong on the list, but some of the choices are very questionable in my mind. Sitting at the number one spot is the Ferrari GTO, unquestionably one of the greatest Ferrari has ever produced. Rounding out the top five in order was the Porsche 911, Shelby Cobra, Jaguar E type, and Mercedes-Benz Gullwing.
If you roll down the list you'll find everything ranging from the Corvette to the Lamborghini to various MGs and other domestic cars. Number 15 on the list goes to the Ford Shelby Mustang, which I think should be further up. The first problem I have with the list is number 18, which is the Datsun/Nissan Z car. Number 19 is the Chrysler 300, which is also questionable my mind. The 21st spot went to the Mazda Miata, which gets a very bad rap because it's an epic driver's car.
