Dish Network Destroys Commercials with Auto Hop

Dish Network has added one of the best features I've ever heard of to its line of Hopper and Joey DVRs. The new feature is called Auto Hop and promises to go into your recorded programs and delete all traces of commercials automatically each night at 1 AM. Once those commercials were deleted, the show is pieced together into a seamless recording.

I can only imagine TV networks are going to bring a lawsuit against Dish Network very quickly out of fears of lost ad revenue. Let's be honest, DVR owners aren't watching your commercials anyway.
