It is that time of year again time for students all over to start graduating from High School and College. It is also getting close to father's day. You want to show your dad how much you care and getting that graduate the perfect gift for all their years of hard work is important. If you know someone who loves music and loves the old time style and flare of the Jukebox then this could be the perfect gift for them. It is the iPod Jukebox.

This is the 1950s-style jukebox that plays music from a connected iPod. Its twin 50-watt full-range speakers produce robust sound from an iPod docked to its top, a built-in CD player that reads both audio CDs and MP3 or WAV CDs, or a digitally tuned AM/FM radio. BBS bass enhancement provides true bass sound. Built from sturdy MDF, solid oak veneers, and chrome-coated trim, it provides ambient illumination, replacing the neon tubes of 60 years ago with color-changing LED tube lights. Its LCD shows which source music is played from while providing touch control for the equalizer settings and playlists. It can play songs randomly or repeat certain songs indefinitely. It has two stereo outputs for connecting a pair of external speakers and an RCA input for connecting another audio source, such as a stereo's cassette deck or phonograph. Be sure to get your dad and a grad you know this awesome gift.

The iPod Jukebox is available at Hammacher Schlemmer for $1,200.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
