The iPhone 5 is rumored since a while to have a larger display. Today the Wall Street Journal claims to have a source confirming that Apple ordered screens that are larger than the iPhone 4S display from Asian manufacturers.

iPhone 5 has bigger Screen says new WSJ Report

Welcome to a new iPhone 5 rumor. Today it is not Digitimes breaking an Asian supply chain rumor. It is the Wall Street Journal . According to people familiar with the situation, Apple has ordered screens from Asian manufacturers that are bigger than the current 3.5-inch iPhone screen.

The production of the iPhone 5 screens is supposed to start next month. The size is at least 4-inches. We have reported about rumors and speculations of the iPhone 5 screen before. The current assumption is that the iPhone 5 is going to be taller and that the aspect ratio is going to change.
