If you're a fan of streaming Netflix video online, you will be glad to hear that the company has launched a new web-based video player. The new player offers text overlays when you posit video and can preview the entire season the show while watching one episode of the show in full screen mode. It's worth noting that there are apparently some issues on Chrome for Mac at this point due to a limitation of Microsoft Silverlight, not a problem Netflix's part.
The new player has a better looking control bar with access to subtitles, season previews, and text menus are replaced with bigger icons. You can preview additional episodes of the show from within the player even when watching video in full-screen mode. The resizing of windows on a computer is also smoother now. It sounds like an all-around better experience with the new player.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
