Sprint is practically begging for new customers as subscribers decline. The company has recently begun offering a $100 credit to anybody the turns in an iPhone for another carrier and signs up for a new Sprint contract. The credit is for activation of a new iPhone on the Sprint network by July 3.
The trade paper work would have to be completed by August 14 and if the phone isn't worth the full $100 trade-in value, Sprint will match it up $200 with an account credit. This makes it sound like how much Sprint offers you out right for your iPhone will depend on its condition much like other trade in services. At least you'll get the money via an account credit even if your phone is old and busted.
