VIA has announced a new and very compact computer designed to run the Android operating system. The small mainboard computer has all the components you need integrated right onto the board and runs Android 2.3 and has been optimized for keyboard and mouse input. The machine supports 720p hardware video acceleration.
It uses a VIA WonderMedia ARM 11 SoC at 800 MHz and the board hides 2 GB of flash storage. It also has 512 MB of integrated DDR3 RAM. The back panel has the 12 V power port, VGA out, HDMI out, four USB ports, Ethernet, mouse/keyboard ports and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The best feature is the price at $49.
