New Apple iPad already Surpassing Original iPad in US

A new report says that the number of new iPad used in the US is already greater than the number of first generation iPads.

The new 3rd generation iPad is a hot seller. We already know that. According to TNW, Localytics issued a report that shows that the new iPad has already more owners than the first Apple iPad. This is quite a milestone to reach in just two months.

The new iPad is now shipping in 1-3 business days from the Apple Store, but there is a limit of two per order. This is clearly a sign that the demand for the new iPad is still strong.

The only next thing that can stop the momentum of the iPad is Windows 8. It is though hard to say if the first generation of Windows 8 tablets will be a real competition to the iPad.
