New report from the Asian supply chain says that Google and Asus are starting to sell the rumored 7-inch Google Tablet in July.
Google is rumored to launch a Google branded low-cost 7-inch Android tablet in collaboration with Asus this year. Digitimes reports today that the Google Tablet is already going on sale in July. A massive shipment of 600,000 units is supposed to be shipped already next month.

According to the report, Google delayed the tablet originally planned for a May release because of design and cost issues. Google needs to under-cut Amazon's Kindle Fire to have a fighting chance to actually sell through the 600,000 units. The Kindle Fire sells for $199. I would see no issue if the Google Tablet is priced at $159 and running Android 4.0 with reasonable performance.
