I'm not happy about this at all. One of the movies I was looking forward to seeing the summer was G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Word surfaced this morning that Paramount has decided to push the launch of G.I. Joe back from next month on June 29 to March 29, 2013. The official explanation is to tweak the movie for 3-D launch.
I think Paramount got scared because The Avengers is dominating the box office and the company didn't want to launch in Marvel's shadow. This is very disappointing and the movie has been the source of a big marketing campaign. You can't watch a movie at the theater without seeing an advertisement for the flick.

Breaking Bad Stars are in Emmys Promo Video
Two of the stars on the television show Breaking Bad are acting in an Emmys promo video. 'Barely Legal Pawn' is quite a funny video and made many an individual laugh his head off.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
