Is Facebook entering the smartphone business for real now? Facebook has tried in the past, but the New York Times reports now that Facebook hired former Apple engineers that worked on the iPhone and iPad. The Facebook Smartphone project has supposedly the title "Buffy."
It is not trivial to make a smartphone. I am not convinced yet that Facebook is really going to make hardware.
