Microsoft to unveil Windows 8 RT White Box Design Today

Microsoft will unveil some kind of tablet today at 3:30pm PST in Los Angeles. That is so far all that we know. Earlier today we carried a report that says that a Microsoft branded low-end tablet eReader with Barnes & Noble and Xbox Live support is coming.

Now Asian supply chain outlet Digitimes reports that their sources talk about a white box design for a Windows 8 RT tablet. If true than Microsoft would just do the same as they did with their first tablet computers. Back then they also made the design and their hardware partners manufactured and sold the slates.

The cool thing is that Microsoft has finally an event that will be a surprise. Nobody really knows yet what Microsoft will reveal - I love it.
