Smartphone maker ZTE Corporation has announced its first single-chip LTE smartphone. The smartphone is called the Grande X LTE (T82) and the single-chip design means it will be more power efficient leading to longer battery life and a similar design with multiple chips. The smartphone will run Android 4.0 use a 1.5 GHz dual core CPU.

The smartphone has an eight-megapixel rear camera that will record full HD video and a front camera supporting 720p video calls. The battery is in 1900 mAh unit promising long run time. The smartphone also has integrated Wi-Fi and a clean button free design. The phone will launch in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe in Q3 with no pricing details available.
