The Microsoft Windows Phone is still behind Android smartphones and the iPhone. Today Microsoft is holding the Windows Phone Developer Summit. It has not been announced what Microsoft will present, but it is safe to assume that we will learn about the next generation of Windows Phone OS. Windows Phone 8 is supposed to get the Windows Phone to the same level as the Apple and Google competition.
Several Tech News outlets are on the scene and will offer live blogging including CNET, BetaNews and The Verge. The show starts at 8:45am PDT.
