Apple Launches Impressive New Employee Discount Program
Apple employees already received some substantial discounts on Macs and iPads. An Apple worker could already buy an iPad or new Mac computer via Apple's employee portal for 25% off. It's a much larger discount than normal people are likely to find on Apple products.
Apple has massively sweetened the deal though with a new employee discount program kicking off this week. On top of the 25% off employees already received, workers can now get an additional $500 off of the Mac computer and an additional $250 off of an iPad. The only caveat is that the new retina resolution Mac computers and the Mac mini are not available on the discount plan.
