Asus has announced that its new Transformer Pad Infinity will go on sale in the United States the week of July 16. The tablet will start at $499 for the 32 GB version and will sell for $599 for the 64 GB version. The keyboard dock will sell separately at $149.
The tablet has a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 with Gorilla Glass and 600 nit brightness rating. The Wi-Fi version of the tablet will use a quad core Tegra three SOC with the versions packing integrated LTE using a dual core Snapdragon S4. It's very strange for two different versions of the same tablets run different chips.
