The Ford Taurus mid-sized sedan has proven to be a very popular car for Ford. It has lots of interior space, and is available in a high-performance version called the SHO. For 2013, the Taurus gets a new engine option with class leading 32 mpg fuel economy on the Highway.
That new engine option is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder that has similar power output to competitors V6 engines. The car will continue with a 3.5-liter V6 base engine the gains 25 hp and the SHO will continue with its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, rated for 25 mpg.
