RIM on the Way Out: Posts Major Loss and Delays BlackBerry 10
RIM, the maker of BlackBerry, was already expected to report gloom Q1 2012 numbers. The reality is though worse than expected. The revenue is down 33% and the company posts a loss of $518 on revenues of $2.2 billion.
On top of that, RIM cuts 5,000 jobs and delays BlackBerry 10 to Q1 2013. Sorry. Nobody needs a new BlackBerry OS next year. Microsoft will take all your Apple and Google hating customers.
We're not sure how many of the new Oculus Rift VR kits have shipped out to developers already, but it looks like a healthy amount are in San Diego right now. That's where Comic-Con is happening this week ... Source: Engadget
