Tiny computer promises good performance
A company called Giada has unveiled a new book sized mini PC the packs in an Ivy Bridge CPU and high-performance GPU in a small package. The computer consumes 35 W of power and the Ivy Bridge processor is an Intel Core i5. Machine has 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB of storage. It will support 1080p video streaming and can run Windows or Linux operating systems.
The machine has five USB ports, a USB 3.0 port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and VGA outputs. The machine starts at $520 and is designed to be easy to place inside a crowded entertainment system.
