Samsung sold almost twice as many smartphones than Apple in the last three month according to research report.

Samsung sold over 50 million Smartphones last Quarter

Apple reported this week that the company sold 26 million iPhones in the last quarter. According to StrategyAnalytics (via Reuters ), Samsung has sold 50.5 million smartphones in the same time-frame. This is almost double as many.

Samsung cements with this result their Smartphone market leadership. Samsung also posted record profits of $5.9 billion carried by their smartphone business.
