Twitter usage has breaking all records during the 2012 Summer Olympics. On Sunday the tweeting of fans along the men's cycling event disrupted the TV broadcast. The data from the GPS devices of the riders did not get through because of data overload of the mobile networks.
This situation then triggered tons of angry tweets for fans watching this Olympic event at home in front of the TV. Olympic organizers are now asking fans to only tweet urgent tweets.
