IT is widely believed that the new iPhone aka iPhone 5 is in production. Now Reuters reports that Sharp President Takashi Okuda said at a press briefing that the company will start shipping displays for the new iPhone this month.
Sharp along with LG and Japan Display are supposed to supply in-cell displays for the new iPhone. The new iPhone displays will be larger and likely measure 4-inch corner to corner.
So far everything points to a September 12th announcement of the iPhone 5.
The iPhone 5 sales are then to begin September 21st. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector, 4G LTE and NFC. The overall design would not change dramatically, only the backside material is not glass anymore. More iPhone 5 Rumors.
