iPhone 4S is only $149.99 on Sprint ahead of iPhone 5 Announcement

You can save now $50 on a new iPhone 4S on contract at Sprint. Sprint has lowered the price of the 16GB iPhone 4S to $149.99 and waives the activation fee. This is clearly a step to keep sales of the iPhone 4S going as many potential iPhone customers are already in the wait and see the iPhone 5 mode. AT&T and Verizon have not lowered their iPhone 4S prices.

If the rumors are correct than we could see the iPhone 5 already in a bit over a month. Wednesday, September 12 is supposedly the day Apple takes off the wraps of the new iPhone.

The iPhone 5 sales are rumored to begin September 21. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector, 4G LTE and NFC. The overall design would not change dramatically, only the backside material is not glass anymore. More iPhone 5 Rumors.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
