New Apple Dock Connector leaks ahead of iPhone 5 Release

It is currently expected that Apple will reveal the new iPhone in about 1 month from now. Tons of parts are already showing up that are supposed to be from the new iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 marks the introduction of a new dock connector. French site NoWhereElse has published several photos of what is believed to be the new 9-pin Apple Dock Connector.

The new dock connector is indeed very small. the pint part is about a quarter of an USB plug.

It is not clear yet if the new dock connector can be plugged in either orientation. This is a photo of the iPhone 5 Dock port. Will this leaked dock connector fit in there?
