Besides the iPhone 5, the Apple iPad mini could be unveiled on September 12. The iPad mini is rumored to have a 7.85-inch display. The details are still very sparse. If Apple is pricing the iPad mini at least as low as $299, the low-end tablet makers will have get serious competition.

9to5Mac has posted a 3D render made by Maurizio Vitale of the iPad mini based on information that is rumored about the device so far. The iPad mini would look like an iPod touch including the narrower side bezels.
