Apple Did not lay Off any Apple Store Retail Employees

Reports of Apple cutting staff have been false.

There where some reports lately that said that Apple laid off retail employees at Apple Stores across the nation. A new Dow Jones report is explaining what happened. Apple's new SVP of Retail John Browett said that Apple tried a new staffing formula and it did not work out. The company reverts to the old system. During the trial some employees got their working hours cut and stores have been understaffed. John Browett told managers to tell employees "We messed up."
