The Avengers 2 to Hit Theaters in May of 2015

One of my favorite superhero films of all time was The Avengers, and I wasn't alone. The movie was huge at the box office and generated massive profits for the movie studio. Almost as soon as the movie hit theaters, plans for the sequel were underway.

With the studio planning a sequel already, I hoped it would come to the theater soon. Sadly, a launch date has surfaced today from Disney and Marvel Studios confirming the film will come to theaters on May 1, 2015. That is a long time from now.
