The iPhone 5 is supposed to be announced on September 12. The iPhone 5 Release Date is supposed 9 days later on September 21. At least this is what a rumor report was saying a couple days ago. Now TechCrunch reports that a source told them that Verizon has set vacation blackouts for September 21 until September 30. This very much confirms that the iPhone 5 will be released on September 21. The rumor mill also says that the pre-order of the iPhone 5 will commence right after the announcement on September 12.
