No price cut for Europe or Japan
The Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect was too expensive for a lot of gamers to consider when it first launched. The device was about $150 and other than a few video games, it just didn't look that interesting to me. Microsoft has announced an official price cut for the Kinect in the United States.

Microsoft is cutting $40 off the price bringing the Kinect to $109.99. The price cut will be rolled out the rest of North America as well as some Asia Pacific countries later. In October, Australia and New Zealand will see a price cut but there are no plans for price cuts in Europe or Japan.
