Craigslist Starts Offering Embedded Maps for Housing in San Francisco and Portland
Craigslist has launched an interesting new update for people looking for real estate the rent or purchase. Craigslist is testingembedded maps
inside ads for housing in the San Francisco Bay and Portland Oregon areas. The new map service uses data from OpenStreetMap.
Reports indicate that craigslist is hosting the maps themselves. It's no surprise that craigslist is testing this feature after it filed suit only a month ago against two other firms for using craigslist housing data on their maps.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) — A Natomas man says his puppy was strangled during a visit to the groomer last month.
Thuan Le, the owner of Buddy, says his dog was at the vet within 40 minutes after getting picked up from Wagger’s Pet Spa and Market on June 29.
“The vet said severe strangulation and ruptured capillaries,” Le said.

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- A sexual assault suspect who met his alleged victims online has been arrested but investigators believe there may be more victims out there who haven’t come forward.
According to arrest affidavit, Michael Miller was allegedly finding his victims on dating websites like match.com or OK Cupid as well as Craigslist.

SAN BRUNO (CBS SF) — A San Bruno woman is trying to evict a tenant she accuses of defrauding landlords, and being a serial squatter.
Sandy Ta says Debbie DeRivero, her tenant in a San Bruno rental unit has been defrauding landlords for seven years, and that her research shows the woman has been evicted as seven times over that period. KPIX 5 was able to confirm three of those evictions, including Ta’s case.
