Apple is supposed stuck getting negotiations forward with cable operators and TV studios for the Apple TV. The WSJ runs a new report saying that Apple has more luck with the music industry and is about to launch a new service that mimics Pandora.
It is not clear why on earth Apple wants to get into that business. I would not spend to much time thinking about this yet. It is likely not happening. Maybe Apple is rather working on a new iTunes feature that requires similar license deals as Pandora. Anyway, the big thing everybody is waiting for is the iPhone 5. We are just 5 days away from the big announcement.
The new iPhone 5 will be announced on September 12. The iPhone 5 sales are then to begin September 21. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector and 4G LTE. The overall design would not change dramatically. The backside material is not glass anymore as Apple introduces a unibody design. The rumors also say that the iPhone 5 is very thin.
