Rumor Claims Twitter Will Offer No Future Updates for Mac Client

A rumor surfaced on Twitter this week that claims the company will no longer offer updates for Mac client. That is certainly going to upset some Mac users. According to the rumor, Twitter won't be discontinuing the Mac client; it will simply stop offering updates.

This probably won't be as big a blow to make users is some people think. This was open the door for more adoption of third-party Twitter apps for Apple users. Word is that a previous update to support retina graphics on Macs has also been shelved.

Source: Sugarscape

We're not actually sure whether we should be referring to James Arthur as James Arthur or if that whole 'just Arthur' thing's come into effect yet, but that's sort of irrelevant here. What is relevant, however, is that he's veen performing at this year's Virgin Media V Festival and chosen to acknowledge that fact that he was a bit of an idiot towards the tail end of last year, what with all the Twitter tirade malarky and that. Yup - we've always ...
