Apple is busy preparing the San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the big iPhone 5 event on Wednesday, September 12. Over the weekend photos of the exterior decoration have appeared that triggered a small uproar in the Apple community. MacRumors forum member discovered that the colorful stripes on the huge poster have been derived by stretching iOS icons.
The stretching is clearly a hint at the taller iPhone 5 screen. Hunting down the icons used to create the stripes uncovered that the Game Center icon was used up side down. Is Game Center a focus of the September 12 event? Not all icons could be identified yet. Join the hunt on MacRumors.
The new iPhone 5 will be announced this Wednesday September 12 at 10am PDT. The iPhone 5 sales are then to begin September 21. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector and 4G LTE. The overall design would not change dramatically. The backside material is not glass anymore as Apple introduces a unibody design. The rumors also say that the iPhone 5 is very thin.
