Web-based Version of Spotify Inbound

If you're a fan of Spotify, a browser-based version of the streaming music service will be launching soon. Another rumor has been circulating that Spotify was getting ready to slash the price of its music streaming service to $8 dollars per month. That would represent a 20% cut from its current premium rate.

Spotify reportedly has to pay about seven dollars per month for each paid subscriber to music labels and copyright owners. That leaves the company only three dollars per month in revenue per user. That means there's no reason holding out to save a couple dollars per month by not signing up now assuming these rumors are true.
