GoDaddy blames internal network events that corrupted data tables. Hacker Anonymous Own3r was just riding the outage for publicity?

GoDaddy hosting was down for about 8 hours yesterday. A hacker named Anonymous Own3r claimed responsibility. Now GoDaddy CEO Scott Wagner issued a statement saying that the downtime was caused by internal server event that corrupted router data tables. Anonymous Own3r response to that is that GoDaddy is hiding the hack. Who do you believe?

The affected GoDaddy customers are supposed to get a good faith gesture that acknowledges the disruption in the next days.
