Earlier we reported that the Apple.com search engine is spilling the beans of what Apple will announce today. The search engine already indexed the urls of unreleased press-releases.
Besides the new iPhone 5, we will see new iPod touch and iPod nano. The third press-release that was discovered announced a new iTunes. This means Apple has done major work on iTunes 11.
9to5Mac received a tip from an AppleCare employees that the new iTunes 11 is re-designed from the ground up and is much sleeker and faster. What I really would like to have is a bookmark feature. I want to remember the movies I am seeing in iTunes to watch them somewhen later.
About the Apple Event:
The new iPhone 5 will be unveiled today at 10am PDT in the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The iPhone 5 Event will be opened by Tim Cook. The iPhone 5 Pre-order is rumored to start Friday, September 14. The iPhone 5 sales are supposed to begin September 21. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector and 4G LTE. The overall design would not change dramatically. The backside material is not glass anymore as Apple introduces a unibody design. The rumors also say that the iPhone 5 is very thin. Besides the iPhone 5 Apple is also expected to unveil new iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffle. Latest word is that Apple also unveils iTunes 11.
