Sony has been busy today unveiling several new products including the new VG900 Handycam camcorder. This is a flagship product claimed to be the world's first consumer 35mm full-frame interchangeable lens camcorder.
The camcorder has a resolution of 24.3 megapixels and can record in 24p or 60p modes. The camera can be fitted with a variety of different lenses including available adapter allowing the use of all A-mount lenses. The professional level camcorder will ship in November for about $3300 without a lens and has all sorts of automated and manual controls.
