All 94,000 Microsoft Employees Get Free Surface Tablets, the Work PCs, and Windows Phone 8 Smartphones

This week wasn't such a bad week to be a full-time employee for Microsoft. The software giant has announced that it will moving the refresh cycle for work computers up to switch all employees to Windows 8 machines at the same time. The software giant also announced that all employees will get new Windows Phone 8 smartphones to use at home and at work.

The coolest announcement is that all full-time direct employees will get a free Surface RT tablet to use at work and at home. Considering Microsoft has 94,000 employees, it's planning to spend some significant money purchasing new hardware.
