Entry-Level Asus Windows 8 RT Tablet Costs as Much as 32GB iPad 3
Windows 8 is seen to have a chance to take on Android and Apple tablets. Especially the Microsoft Surface tablets have consumers excited. The only spoiler could be the price. If a leakedAsus slide is legit than Windows 8 tablets are doomed. The Asus Vivo Tab RT TF600T has a starting price of $599 according to a slide ZDNet has published. Mind you this tablet runs Windows 8 RT and not full Windows 8. The Asus Windows 8 tablet Vivo Tab TF810C starts at $799. The dual display Asus Taichi has a price tag of $1,299.
I do not mind that Asus prices the Taichi at over $1,000. This is a novelty product without mass market appeal. It is though not reasonable to have the entry-level Windows 8 RT tablet to have a higher price than the cheapest iPad 3.
I hope for Asus that these prices are not final. We are also still waiting for the Microsoft Surface pricing.

Gwyneth Paltrow facing Lawsuit
The famous actress and creator of a website named Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow, is facing a lawsuit by a man who claims she plagiarized his creative phrase. And she is also concerned about her ex-husband’s new relationships.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
