The new iPhone 5 went on pre-order on Friday. Two days we reported that the iPhone 5 shipping delay increased to 2-3 weeks. Today it jumped to 3-4 weeks. This means that customers continued the whole week pre-ordering the iPhone 5 in high numbers.
Remember that within one hour the shipping estimate for the iPhone 5 slipped to 2 weeks. Apple has sold 2 million iPhone 5 in the first 24 hours of the pre-order. The only chance to get an iPhone 5 now in time is to line-up at an Apple Store or carrier store this Friday at 8:00am. The lines have though already started to form on some Apple Stores.
The 3-4 week iPhone 5 shipping delay is right now only in the United States and UK (only 16GB Black iPhone 5)

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
