Nokia is facing the biggest challenge in the company's history with profits falling and no popular smartphones. The company has bet all on Windows Phone 8 in hopes that the new operating system will help turn it smartphone fortunes around. While Nokia is hoping for a return to profitability with popular smartphones, the company is also making other plans.
Nokia has previously laid-off a large number of its employees to save money. Reports are now surfacing that Nokia is considering selling its headquarters in Finland. The company's HQ is thought to be worth as much is $388 million and sits on waterfront property near the Baltic Sea.
