Mark Zuckerberg appeared today in NBC's Today Show for an interview. Facebook made the announcement of crossing the 1 billion active user mark part of the PR push. Facebook reached already the 1 billion monthly active users on September 14 at 12.45 PM Pacific time.
The whole fantasy behind Facebook's market value is the huge size of the user base. The question is still if Zuckerberg can crack the code to milk the 1 billion users for cash to drive renues.
