Steve Jobs died October 5 2011. Steve Jobs is still very present around the globe and the days without a story about Steve Jobs over the past year have been scarce. Apple remembers Steve Jobs with quotes and photos of Steve Jobs on the Apple.com homepage followed by a letter from Tim Cook.

Tim Cook says: "One of the greatest gifts Steve gave to this world is Apple. No company has ever inspired such creativity or set such high standards for itself. Our values originated from Steve and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple." Read the full letter on Apple.com .
