Sony has recalled its Xperia Tablet and removed it from the market only a month after it launched. Sony recalled product after discovering a design flaw in the manufacturing process for the tablet in its Chinese factory. The flaw left a gap between the display of the tablet and the tablets case.
That gap could allow water inside the tablet, which is billed as splash resistant. Sony says that it shipped 100,000 tablets so far and that tablets are resold will be repaired. There is no indication this time of when the tablet will come back to market.
