Felix Baumgartner Space Jump Live Coverage

Austrian dare devil Felix Baumgartner will attempt to ascend to 120,000 feet in a stratospheric balloon and make a free-fall jump rushing toward earth at supersonic speeds before parachuting to the ground. The Red Bull Stratos Mission is set now to launch at 7:30am MTD today, after the launch failed last week.

Felix Baumgartner is definitely risking his life with this record breaking jump. We wish him all the best and that he will make it down safe again.

It is not Certain if the Space Jump happens tomorrow

The weather condition are not certain for tomorrow to try another launch of the Red Bull Stratos mission. They will try tomorrow. The weather after tomorrow is going to be bad for a launch. So if the launch does not happen tomorrow it is not going to happen for a several days again. This is disappointing for Felix Baumgartner and everybody involved, but also for us watching. We will provide updates as soon as we know new details of the next launch time for the supersonic jump.

The Red Bull Stratos mission was underway. The ballon was still on the ground. Felix Baumgartner did not take off yet. And because of the winds they now cancelled the launch! It is over for today! Tune in again tomorrow.
