The iPad mini announcement is supposed to be next week if we can believe the rumors. For that to happen Apple would need to send out media invites this week. In the meantime some new rumors surfaced about the iPad mini. The Guardian reports that industry sources revealed to them that the iPad mini will only come as Wi-Fi variant.
The only exciting information about the iPad mini is its price. Everything else is rather straight forward, but the price is what will define the iPad mini.
The report also says that Apple will refresh the iPad 3 and make it work with European 4G networks like the iPhone 5. The iPad 3 refresh will also have the new small dock connector.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
