Western Digital My Wi-Fi Range Extender Expands Your Wireless Coverage

Western Digital has unveiled a new Wi-Fi Range extender called the My Net Wi-Fi Range Extender. The wireless range extender is designed to work with any Wi-Fi certified router or gateway. It supports wireless standards ranging from the old 802.11a to the more modern 802.11ac. The range extender is available right now for $89.99.

The device is designed to extend the reach of the wireless network in the areas of your home or office that were previously unreachable area it uses a 3 x 3 MIMO antenna and supports high-bandwidth services such as streaming video, video conferencing, an online gaming. The device supports both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz network and has a front mounted Ethernet port.
