New iMac is Not Expected to Get Retina Display

Rumored new iMac will be not much different than current iMac.

Apple is rumored to unveil a new iMac next week along the new iPad, new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and new Mac minis. 9to5Mac reports that their sources say that the prices of the new late 2012 iMacs will not change. This means that the new iMacs will not have new significant features. It will be just a CPU and memory upgrade. There have been rumors earlier this year that Apple would upgrade the iMac displays. So do not expect Retina Display iMacs to be unveiled next week on October 23.
